Non-Cell Defining SSB (NCD-SSB)

In 5G (NR - New Radio), a relevant term is "SIB" (System Information Block) and "SSB" (Synchronization Signal Block), which are part of the physical layer and the broadcast information that helps in the synchronization and system information acquisition by the user equipment (UE).

Synchronization Signal Block (SSB):

System Information Block (SIB):

SIBs carry essential system information that UEs need to access and connect to the 5G network. These include information about cell identity, frequency bands, scheduling, and other configuration details.
